Variety description

The variety has the form of a dwarf, very dense and compact shrub. At 10 years of age, the plant reaches about 0.8 m in height and width. At maturity, the height rarely exceeds 1–1.5 meters with a crown diameter of about 1 meter.

The plant's needles are soft, short, and colored bluish-green. The variety is characterized as frost-hardy and long-lived. Young plants may need protection from spring sunburn.
