The plant is a dwarf form with a conical crown, reaching a height of about 1 meter at 10 years of age. The variety is intended for landscaping and is suitable for cultivation in containers and in open field.

The needles have a distinct blue or silvery-blue shade. The plant is characterized as cold-hardy and slow-growing. A tendency for regular reversion is noted, which can cause patches or branches with green needles to appear on the tree.
