Variety description

The variety was obtained as a result of selecting a "witch's broom" mutation on a specimen of Picea glauca «Alberta Globe». The plant is characterized by extremely slow growth, amounting to about 1–4 cm per year. By 10–15 years of age, the shrub reaches a height of 30–50 cm, and in adulthood — up to 0.8–1.2 m.

The crown has a dense and stable shape, changing with age from spherical to dome-shaped. The thin and soft needles are arranged radially on the shoots. The plant is winter hardy, prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations and moderately moist soils without stagnant water.
