Variety description

The variety has a broad-conical, dense, and compact crown shape. The plant height reaches about 150 cm with a width of about 60 cm. A characteristic feature is the absence of drooping shoots.

The short shoots acquire a reddish-brown hue on the sunny side during the autumn-winter period. The needles are dense, light green on the upper side in the autumn period.

The plant possesses good frost resistance and a sturdy habit. It is used in landscape design as an accent plant and is also grown in pot culture as a compact spruce.
