The variety is a dwarf evergreen shrub, also known under the trade names Spruce It Up and Mini Me. The plant has a natural pyramidal shape, reaching a height of about 2.1 meters and a width of 0.9 meters. The branches are spaced more openly than in the original forms, which contributes to better air circulation.

The needles have a pale green hue. The variety is resistant to spider mite infestations and needle cast, tolerates extreme heat well, and is suitable for hardiness zones 3–7. It is characterized by relatively fast growth and is used in borders, hedges, solitary plantings, and container gardening.
