The clone is used exclusively as a root system for grafting commercial pistachio varieties. The plant is characterized by high growth vigor, intensive development, and early vegetative bud break compared to standard rootstocks.
This rootstock possesses increased tolerance to saline soils, including high concentrations of sodium sulfate and sodium bicarbonate, as well as resistance to irrigation with brackish water. The clone is distinguished by high resistance to Verticillium wilt and improved cold hardiness.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
