Variety description

The variety is characterized by a high protein content in the seeds, reaching 25.9%. An increased concentration of total phenols and phytic acid compared to a number of other varieties is noted in the grains; the content of antinutrient factors is also being studied.
In breeding, the variety is used as an object for trait mapping (QTL), in particular, in crosses for studying the genetic architecture associated with grain yield and protein content. The variety participates in international programs for improving grain quality indicators.
