The plant is very tall and vigorous, reaching 160–200 cm in height, and requires mandatory support. It blooms with large purple-pink flowers. The pods are short, wide, and slightly angular.
The seeds are large, yellow-brown in color with a possible reddish tint, slightly wrinkled, without patterns, and have a clearly visible black hilum. The variety is late-maturing with a prolonged ripening period, which is why it is recommended to mow the plants in their entirety for subsequent drying and threshing.
Traditionally used in cooking as a boiling pea; also suitable for fresh consumption or livestock feed. It possesses a sweet, nutty flavor.
