The Honey Pod variety belongs to the snap pea group. The ripening period is about 70 days. The plant height to the flowering node is approximately 51 cm.

The pods are green, blunt-shaped, and about 7.6 cm long. The pods are edible in their entirety, do not contain a fibrous layer, and do not become coarse upon maturation. The variety is intended for fresh consumption.
