The plant belongs to the climbing type and is equipped with tendrils for fixation on supports. The variety forms large green pods which are completely devoid of fiber on the seams. Inside are sweet green seeds.
The variety possesses relative resistance to low temperatures and is capable of withstanding brief frosts down to -6°C. Cultivation requires sunny areas protected from wind and fertile, moisture-retentive soils with regular irrigation.
The produce is intended for direct consumption in raw form, as well as for culinary processing: boiling, frying, or stewing, both as whole pods and as shelled seeds.
