S. A. FLORIMOND DESPREZ VEUVE ET FILS
10 August 2026
The variety forms slender plants 80–100 cm in height, capable of branching. Due to its thin stem, the variety requires support or co-cropping with cereal crops. It is considered an early-maturing variety, which ensures ripening in the conditions of a short northern summer.
Pods are small, containing an average of 5 seeds each. Seeds are colored in grayish-green tones with blue speckles; specimens with a reddish hue or black seeds are sometimes encountered; the hilum is black. The thousand kernel weight is about 65 grams. Harvesting is recommended when the majority of pods begin to dry out due to possible uneven ripening.
