The variety belongs to the second early maturity group. Plant height averages 70 cm, though under certain conditions it may reach 90 cm. During the ripening process, the variety may be prone to lodging.
The plant forms pods that are often arranged in pairs. Each pod contains 6 to 9 peas of medium or medium-large size. The variety possesses marked resistance to powdery mildew and a number of other pea diseases.
