The variety is a semi-leafless (tendril-type) plant with a stem height ranging from 55 to 111 cm. The growing season lasts from 168 to 241 days, which is due to its winter habit.
The seeds are round, with yellow cotyledons and a light hilum; the thousand kernel weight is 181–228 g. The plant has high resistance to Fusarium oxysporum race 1, as well as moderate resistance to Ascochyta blight and anthracnose. The variety is characterized by its ability to suppress weeds.
