The variety was obtained by crossing parental forms Akwa and Pinochio. The plant is characterized by a semi-leafless type and well-developed stipules; stem height varies from 44 to 82 cm. Seeds are ovoid, with green cotyledons and seed coats.
The plant possesses good resistance to lodging and pod shattering, moderate drought tolerance, and tolerance to early spring frosts. Resistance to Fusarium wilt and bacteriosis is rated as moderate, and to rust and Ascochyta blight as weak. During harvest, it is recommended to maintain a moisture level of 16–18%.
