Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to the field grain pea category and is characterized by medium or large-sized seeds. The plants have a semi-leafless growth habit; the pods are characterized by a medium degree of curvature and pointed tips.

In scientific research, the variety is often used as a standard for evaluating yield, protein content, and seed vigor. The variety is characterized by susceptibility to Pea enation mosaic virus, but in tests for reaction to Ascochyta pinodes, it served as a partially resistant control sample.
