The variety belongs to the category of forage peas used in livestock farming, in particular, in mixed sowings with wheat or triticale. The yield of green mass is 60–70 t/ha. Seeds contain 20–30% protein, and the green mass contains 2.5–3% protein and about 11% carbohydrates.
When seeds are inoculated with the Rhizobium leguminosarum bv. viciae 1001 strain, up to 19 pods and up to 60 seeds are formed on one plant. The variety is characterized as early-maturing and is used in scientific research as a standard for the winter form of pea.
