The variety is facultative (winter-spring), which allows for sowing in both the autumn and early spring periods. The plant belongs to tall forms prone to lodging, therefore the use of supporting crops is recommended when grown for forage.
The variety's production is characterized by high nutritional value, protein content in the grain, and the nutritional value of the green mass. Currently, the variety is considered a classic representative of Croatian breeding from the mid-1980s and may be held in genetic resource archives.
