The Micro variety belongs to the afila group (leafless type), where tendrils develop instead of leaflets. This morphology facilitates better intertwining of plants, which increases the lodging resistance of the stems. Plant height varies between 60–90 cm.
The variety was created as a specialized material for the processing industry. In scientific and patent literature, the name is also encountered when designating genetic lines and mutants used in breeding work for the selection of afila forms.
