The variety belongs to the ultra-early group and has a stem height of 60–80 cm. The plant belongs to the afila type: leaves are transformed into tendrils, which ensures stem entanglement and lodging resistance. The stem is strong, with frequent nodes in the lower part.
The variety possesses high winter hardiness on par with winter wheat and drought tolerance. Tolerance to powdery mildew, Fusarium wilt, and root rots is noted. Harvesting is usually carried out in the first ten days of June.
The grain has a round shape and a light cream or light green color; the thousand kernel weight is 180–200 g. The crude protein content in the grain varies from 23 to 25%. Due to the low content of antinutritional substances, the grain can be used in animal husbandry without thermal processing.
