The Olympos variety belongs to the mid-late crop group. Due to its slow maturation characteristics, it is suitable for cultivation in mixed crops with forage crops that have a long growing season.
The seed composition (in terms of dry matter) contains about 248 g/kg of crude protein, 19 g/kg of fat, and 66 g/kg of crude fiber. The variety was bred based on local genetic resources from the mountainous regions of Greece.
