The variety is a traditional leaved type of pea with a short stem. In agricultural research, it is classified as a green pea variety possessing resistance to grain bleaching before harvest under unfavorable weather conditions.
In Russian breeding practice, the variety is used as a parental component in the creation of new domestic varieties, such as Veles and KS Favorit, to pass on the short-stem trait to them.
