The variety belongs to dwarf or semi-dwarf types with a stem height of 60–75 cm. It forms large dark-green blunt-ended pods, each containing 6 to 8 large wrinkled peas.
The plant has high sugar content in seeds and is adapted for fresh consumption, culinary use and freezing. The variety shows resistance to Fusarium wilt.
There is an early variation of the variety called «Early Onward», the ripening period of which is 7–10 days shorter than that of the main variety.
