Variety description

10 August 2026

Orchestra is a semi-leafless spring pea variety with a plant height of 45 to 92 cm. The seeds are round with yellow cotyledons, and the thousand kernel weight ranges from 255 to 315 g. The variety has high resistance to lodging and shattering.

The crude protein content in the grain is 21.7–26.3%. The plant is resistant to Fusarium oxysporum race 1, Ascochyta race C, bean yellow mosaic virus, and exhibits tolerance to iron-deficiency chlorosis; under field conditions, low susceptibility to rust is noted.
