The Újmajori korai variety belongs to the early-maturing category. The thousand kernel weight is about 515 g, and plant height reaches 61 cm. The variety underwent resistance testing against Fusarium oxysporum.
In agricultural practice, the variety was used in a two-stage harvesting technology. It was used primarily in the canning industry. It is mentioned in literature as part of a series of varieties that formed the basis of industrial pea cultivation in Hungary.
