The variety is intended for landscaping parks, areas under tree canopies, and other places with insufficient light levels. It can be used both in pure form and as part of lawn mixtures with bentgrass or sheep fescue.
The plant tolerates shade well and is capable of growing in dry sites. A lawn based on this variety requires mowing no more than 1–2 times per year, while maintaining a decorative appearance during the flowering and panicle formation phase.
