The Liblue variety is classified as Kentucky bluegrass and is included in international lists of varieties approved for seed certification. In scientific literature, it is considered in the context of studies on the content of group 5 allergens in the pollen of gramineous grasses.

Specialized agronomic descriptions of the variety are absent. In phenological studies, the variety was noted as early-flowering, with the beginning of flowering recorded at the end of May.
