The variety has wide leaves and shorter culms compared to the Merion variety. Plants are distinguished by early spring regrowth and a pronounced dormancy period in autumn.

The variety demonstrates resistance to powdery mildew, with potential susceptibility to helminthosporiosis noted. The crop possesses a good ability to regrow after mowing.

The plants were obtained through selective breeding from Swedish populations of wild-growing Kentucky bluegrass. The variety was intended for use in pastures and was recommended for cultivation throughout Sweden.
