The variety Sving was bred in Sweden during breeding work in Uppsala and Svalöv. In scientific literature, it is classified as an X-ray mutant.

This variety belongs to the early-maturing category: its ripening period occurs approximately one week earlier than that of the variety Primus. Due to reduced yield compared to analogs, the variety did not receive wide distribution and currently has limited significance.
