The variety Kerbelpicotee (trade name Belarina Amethyst Ice) is a compact rosette plant 15–25 cm in height. The leaves are bright green with pronounced veining; the flowers are double, of a violet-blue amethyst shade with a thin white edge along the petal margin.

The plant is an aromatic early-flowering winter-hardy perennial with a flowering period from February to May. Planting requires partial shade sites and well-drained, moderately moist soil. The variety is suitable for borders, flower beds, and container gardening.
