The variety was obtained as a result of hybridization of the varieties Mari de Cenad and Stark Early Orange. The trees are characterized by vigorous growth, form an open-type crown, and bear fruit mainly on May bouquets. The variety is characterized by very late flowering and a very early fruit ripening period.

The fruits have an oblong or oval-ovoid shape, orange skin with a red blush. The orange flesh is characterized by juiciness, aroma, and moderate firmness, and it does not separate from the pit. The medium-sized pit contains a bitter kernel.

The variety possesses high disease resistance and frost resistance down to -28 °C. Due to its self-fertility, the variety is suitable for cultivation in monoculture. The produce is universal and can be used both fresh and for industrial processing into compotes and jams.
