Variety description

10 August 2026

Cesar, also known by the breeding number P52-120, is mid-season and matures between June 13 and June 28. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth, a semi-upright crown, and abundant flowering. The variety is self-fertile and distinguished by high productivity.

Fruits are round-oval in shape and large in caliber (47–53 mm). The surface of the fruit is colored purple-red. The flesh has high density, is resistant to cracking, and has a balanced sweet taste.

The variety is intended for commercial use in the fresh produce market. The breeding program focuses on the plant's resistance to diseases, in particular Plum pox virus, and the ability to maintain quality during transport.
