The variety was obtained by crossing «Magyar kajszi C.1789» and «Ceglédi óriás». In accordance with international UPOV descriptors, the tree has a wide crown shape.

One of the key characteristics of the variety is an increased ability to withstand spring frosts, which makes it more frost-resistant compared to a number of traditional Hungarian varieties. The fruits possess good flavor qualities, aroma, and often have a characteristic red blush on the sunny side.

The variety is intended for commercial cultivation and use both for the fresh market and within the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) system.
