Variety GG9318 (Belgida) is the result of the breeding program of the Valencian Institute of Agricultural Research. The genetic base of the variety was formed by crossing the Goldrich and Ginesta varieties.
In scientific literature, the variety is mentioned primarily as an object of molecular genetic analysis. It is used in breeding work aimed at identifying resistance to Plum Pox Virus. Detailed agronomic characteristics, such as ripening dates or fruit quality indicators, are not available in open sources.
