The Gencika variety tree has medium vigor and a wide crown. The variety is characterized by late flowering with a long duration, as well as self-fertility, not requiring additional pollinators. The fruits have an average size weighing from 40 to 55 grams, dark orange coloration, and soft, sweet flesh.
The variety ripens in early July and is resistant to spring frosts, however, it may be moderately sensitive to scab and Stigmina carpophila. Due to the fact that the fruits are difficult to detach from the branch, it is recommended to carry out harvesting in 3–4 stages.
