The variety was obtained as a result of a breeding program started in 1984, based on crossing the Vestar and SEO varieties. The plant is characterized by medium vigor and forms a widely spreading crown.
The round-oval fruits have a rich orange color, often with a blush. The flesh is firm, juicy, and aromatic, suitable for fresh consumption and freezing. Ripening occurs at the beginning of July.
The variety possesses high winter hardiness, including resistance of flower buds to frost. It has good resistance to Monilinia and shot-hole disease, as well as high resistance to Plum pox virus (PPV).
