The variety belongs to the early group: the ripening period is about 89 days after the completion of flowering. The tree is self-fertile.

Fruits have a bright orange skin ground color with a distinct red blush, covering from 30 to 40 percent of the surface. The fruit flesh is firm and juicy, with good flavor qualities and a characteristic aroma.

The variety's genotype contains markers for resistance to Plum pox virus (PPV), however, field studies to confirm this resistance are ongoing.
