The variety was created by specialists at the Agroscope institute to preserve the taste qualities of the Luizet variety while simultaneously addressing issues related to disease resistance and optimization of harvest timing.
The variety demonstrates good tolerance to brown rot Monilinia laxa. The fruits possess improved characteristics compared to the parent variety in terms of storage and transportation capability.
