The variety has a spreading crown shape and bears fruit primarily on the tips of one-year-old shoots. Normal development requires approximately 400–450 chilling hours. The variety shows a tendency toward pre-harvest fruit drop, and fruits may crack during rainy weather.

The fruits are characterized by yellow or dark orange flesh with a moderately sweet taste. Due to the delicacy of the produce, harvesting is recommended at an early stage of maturity. Trees are susceptible to Eutypa dieback, requiring preventive summer pruning, and exhibit incompatibility when grafted onto Marianna 2624 rootstock.
