Variety description

10 August 2026

The Mistral variety tree has medium to strong vigor with a well-branched semi-erect or erect crown. The variety is self-fertile and has a late flowering period, which reduces the risk of damage from spring frosts. The yield level is medium, and the fruiting type is uniform.

The fruits are medium to large in size, round to slightly elongated in shape with a velvety surface. The ground color of the skin is intense orange with a bright reddish blush covering up to 80% of the surface. The flesh is firm, juicy, and intense orange in color, possessing a sweet taste with a slight tartness and a stone that separates well.

The variety is resistant to cracking and is suitable for long-term storage and transportation. The tree demonstrates good heat tolerance in hot summer conditions. The purpose of the variety is commercial cultivation for the fresh market.
