The Perle Cot tree is medium-vigorous, with a semi-open crown and good branching ability. The plant enters the fruiting period quickly. The variety is self-fertile and does not require the presence of pollinators in the orchard.
The fruits are round in shape and have an average weight of about 80 g. The skin is bright orange with a red blush covering about half of the surface. The flesh is yellow, juicy, and firm, with a sugar content of 12–14° Brix.
The variety has resistance to major diseases and fruit cracking. High shelf life and transportability allow the fruits to be stored for up to one month, making the variety suitable for commercial cultivation and export.
