The tree is medium-sized, reaches a height of 6–8 meters, and has a rounded crown. It is distinguished by early flowering, which occurs at the end of February — beginning of March. The variety is self-fertile and when cultivated is most often grafted onto wild apricot (zherdel).

The medium-sized fruits have an oblate, slightly asymmetric shape. The skin is smooth, colored light yellow or light orange with a red-pink blush. The flesh is light yellow, fine-textured, not very dense, and possesses a sweet taste with moderate acidity.

The variety is of universal purpose. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and are also suitable for processing, including the preparation of jams, preserves, and sauces for meat dishes.
