The tree of the Rubivial variety is medium-sized. The self-fertile variety is characterized by late flowering, which helps the plant avoid some spring frosts. The fruit ripening period is early, occurring approximately in the second ten-day period of June.
The fruits are large, weighing 60–90 g, have a round-oval shape and an intense carmine-ruby blush over the entire surface. The flesh is orange-yellow in color, firm and crunchy, and has a sweet-and-sour taste with a pronounced apricot aroma. The fruits do not drop when overripe.
