The variety was obtained from open-pollinated seedlings of the «Ленинградская черная» variety. Fruits are medium to large in size, have a black-red color, dark red juice, and a stone that separates well.

The tree is noted for good productivity and is self-sterile, therefore requiring cross-pollination with other varieties. The variety ripens towards the end of July and is suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, and home canning.
