The variety was obtained by open pollination of the Stark Hardy Giant variety. The tree has medium growth vigor and a spreading crown. The S-allele genotype of the plant is determined as S2S6.
The fruits are distinguished by a firm consistency and a dark red skin color. The presence of the volatile compound 2-hexenal was detected in the chemical composition of the fruits. The variety is a valuable genetic material for breeding new sweet cherry varieties.
