The tree has medium to above-medium vigor and a spreading crown. The variety is characterized by early onset of bearing. Flowering is early, occurring in the last week of March. The variety is self-incompatible and belongs to the XVIII pollinator group with the S1S9 genotype.
Fruits are large or very large, about 28–29 mm in diameter, with a kidney shape. The skin is dark red, the flesh is pinkish-red, and of medium firmness. The peduncle is short or medium in length; the fruits detach with difficulty.
The variety belongs to the very early category, ripening approximately two days before the «Burlat» variety. It is characterized by low resistance to fruit cracking during the ripening period.
