The fruits ripen in early June. They have an elongated shape, are attached to long pedicels, and possess glossy dark red skin. The flesh is pink, translucent, juicy, and sweet. The stone is medium-sized with an elongated-oval shape.

The fruits are suitable for culinary use. The tree is also mentioned in the context of ornamental gardening.
