The variety is a traditional regional cultivar, not a product of artificial breeding. The tree is characterized by a vigorous crown, however, in modern conditions, special rootstocks and pruning are used to limit the height to 2.5–4 meters.

The fruits are used for fresh consumption and are the subject of scientific research in the field of storage and processing. The variety is susceptible to fruit cracking during precipitation, which is a typical characteristic of the crop.
