Dhypres 6 is a rootstock intended for use with plum and apricot varieties. It is a hybrid of common plum Prunus domestica and cherry plum Prunus cerasifera.
The plant is characterized by moderate growth vigor, a spherical crown shape, and white flowers; the variety is self-fertile. The main advantage of the rootstock is its high resistance to various isolates of the Plum Pox Virus (PPV-D, PPV-Rec, PPV-M, PPV-EA, PPV-W).
