The variety was obtained as a result of crossing Drogana Zheltya and Valeriy Chkalov varieties. The tree is vigorous, has a semi-upright crown and a medium degree of branching. Young shoots are distinguished by strong anthocyanin coloration of the tip and intense pubescence during the period of active growth.

Fruits are very large, weighing from 9.0 to 11.5 g, having a kidney-shaped or round-cordate shape with a concave apex. The skin and flesh are dark red, the juice is purple, and the stone is large. The fruits are of medium firmness, very juicy, and have a sweet taste with a slight acidity.

The variety is of mid-season maturity; fruits ripen in the second ten days of June. Bearing begins in the fourth year after planting. The variety requires the presence of pollinators, for which Valeriy Chkalov is often used.
