The tree is vigorous with a spreading crown. Fruits are medium-sized, heart-shaped or round-heart-shaped, turning pale yellow upon full maturity with a possible golden or orange-brown blush. The flesh is firm, cartilaginous, with a sweet honey flavor and low acidity.

The variety belongs to late maturity groups. It is considered one of the most winter-hardy among sweet cherries. Fruits are resistant to cracking and Botrytis cinerea infection in rainy weather, and are less damaged by birds. The variety is self-incompatible; other sweet cherry varieties are recommended for pollination.
